This will also provide you with time to enjoy this fascinating Asian City. Visit the Grand Palace, take a riverboat cruise, visit the Temples, Markets and not forgetting the plethora of shopping options.
Our hotel is in the Silom district of Bangkok, close to many of the city’s attractions.
In the evening we will have a meeting at the hotel to provide essential information about the Bangkok to Phuket cycle tour. We will provide all tour participants with an Amazing Bike Tours cycle jersey. Then we shall enjoy a delicious Thai meal so we have time to all get to know each other.

We will start by driving just under 2 hours south of Bangkok to escape the traffic chaos so we can enjoy our cycling on more relaxed roads. In Petchaburi we will unload and assemble the bikes. From this point we will cycle the entire distance to Phuket, unless you chose to skip a stage or part of. This flat stage will have us cycling past Salt fields and ocean views. We will stop in the beach town of Cham Am after cycling 60km for a leisurely lunch. Then another 24kms will bring us to Hua Hin a famous beach town with close ties to the Thai Royal family.

We cycle south from Hua Hin through Thai countryside. Our route will take us through the scenic Sam Roi Yot National Park with towering mountains providing the scenery as we cycle along flat roads. We will complete the ride at a quiet beach with only a few hotels away from the more developed tourist beaches.

Todays ride will be a combination of back roads with a few sections on the highway, but a wide shoulder for bikes means we can always safely enjoy the ride. Small villages, Palm trees and ocean views will greet our cyclists on this stage, which is mostly flat. The small beach village, which we are heading to is delightful, our hotel just a few steps away from the beach. An impressive Thai Temple is situated on the headland overlooking the bay, which is well worth a visit if you can tear yourself away from the pool or beach in the afternoon.

The entire route today is on back roads with rice paddies, Coconut Tree plantations, fishing villages and endless ocean views. The later part of the stage has some gentle rolling hills. The beach of Ao Thung Wua Laen is our finishing point for the day, located 15 km (9 miles) north of Chumphon.

Sleep in, relax, get a massage, read a book, take a stroll along the beach. Our tour bus is available if you wish to visit some of the local attractions. If eight days of cycling during this trip is not enough, head out for a ride and explore the area. On this day we only include breakfast at the hotel and the rest of the day is yours to do as you please. We recommend you conserve some energy as we still have another 4 days of cycling to reach Phuket Island.

We continue southwards, lush greenery and waterfalls keep us visually aroused as the kilometers roll past quickly. Locals waving as we ride past their villages. We compete the stage in the rainforest and check in to our unique hotel, take in the views, breath the cooler air or take a swim in the resorts pool.

What our clients say about us

16 March 2024 ★★★★★We did a 10 day private tour of Thailand with Amazing Bike Tours (ABT), including a couple of days of biking in Chiang Mai and a day in Phuket. ABT put together a great mix of biking and classic tours at a reasonable price. They responded quickly to emails and were very easy to deal with. The whole trip was fantastic, from the boat trips to James Bond Island to staying overnight in Bangkok and other towns. Our guide, Tom, was not only knowledgeable but also really friendly - he even became our unofficial photographer and shared all his photos with us. I definitely recommend ABT if you're planning a trip to Asia.

5 May 2024 ★★★★★We spent 12 days with Amazing Bike Tours from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh via Battambang. Our tour was perfectly tailored to our route and physical condition and on the last day, we were safely transported to our beach accommodation in Sihanoukville. The organization was flawless from start to finish. The accommodation was also comfortable, allowing us to rest well after eventful days. The tour provided great value for money. The experiences were unique and could fill two vacation reports! The bikes were perfectly adjusted to our needs, with well-maintained gears and brakes. If there was a minor issue, the guide promptly addressed it. The minivan support was modern and very comfortable. The driver was excellent and we felt safe! Besides the visual impressions, we learned a lot about the country and its people.

18 January 2024 ★★★★★We had a custom and private 3-day bike tour in the Mekong Delta with Loc, our expert bike tour guide who organized, coordinated, and led three days of fantastic bike touring. Our tour of the the Mekong Delta included Cai Lay, Cai Be, Can Tho, and My Tho, before catching a luxury Mekong River cruise up to Cambodia. Loc was a great guide who really helped us appreciate the culture of the untouched tourist areas of the delta where we met fantastic people and toured through incredible villages, markets, Khmer temple, and even a local school. Loc did an excellent job of pacing the bike ride to our activity level and we enjoyed some great lunches at some local residences, even picking up some rat at a local market we toured and having it expertly prepared at a local home. Our best, most authentic Vietnamese meals were enjoyed on this biking tour. We had a van w/driver following us throughout the bike rides to ensure we had plenty of water and picked us up when we were ready to be done for the day. Loc also gave us a tour of Saigon as well as the underground Vietnam war tunnels at Cu Chi. I can't say enough about the biking tours and Loc was just a fantastic guide. We hated to say good-bye as we continued our tour of Southeast Asia but will always cherish the bike tour we had with Loc in Vietnam.
